Research project exploring the rockpools of a particular stretch of the North East coast
The project aimed to explore the shifting ebb and flow of rockpools, whose structures and forms change roughly twice a day with the tide. Some elements are swept away, some elements are brought in, some parts stay mostly the same. This project relied on a Goethean approach of 'dwelling in the phenomena' with walking, exploration and observation key to the development of the work.
Project is documented in more detail on my blog
The project resulted in a riso-printed publication, Islands, and a series of screenprints.
